Shan’tel believes in the nurturing power of therapy and how it can help individuals change, heal, and grow. She is dedicated to empowering teens and adults to better navigate anxiety, overwhelm, and PTSD symptoms. She provides a warm, collaborative, and compassionate approach, helping individuals feel genuinely seen, validated, and supported throughout their healing journey.
Her experience includes working one-on-one with teens and adults, helping them develop skills to better manage anxiety, stress, self-worth, relationships, depression, and PTSD. She has also worked with hospice patients and NOJOS clients, led DBT groups for teens, and helped facilitate grief and loss groups for adults. Shan’tel’s goal is to help individuals feel more hope and help as they heal.
Shan’tel holds a Master of Social Work degree from Utah State University. As a provider, she draws from a blend of therapeutic modalities including DBT, CPT, ACT, CBT, and TF-CBT, with plenty of self-compassion sprinkled in. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time in the mountains, and listening to upbeat music.
