Holly is currently a student at Anderson University working on her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Doctoral degree. She studied at Salt Lake Community College and Western Governors University for her Bachelor’s Degree and MSN-ed in Nursing. She has spent the last 10 years working in outpatient and inpatient settings as a Psych and Women’s health nurse. She is deeply committed to creating a safe environment and holding space for your recovery. She has a deep love for mental health and helping individuals build the skills they need to break cycles, communicate effectively, and heal through trauma. She has worked extensively with substance use disorder, sexual trauma, domestic violence, emotional dysregulation, psychosis, complex PTSD, chronic and acute health grief, and other challenges.
Holly is very passionate about working with women, couples, adolescents, and the LGBTQ+ community. Her main areas of focus are trauma, faith deconstruction, sexual assault survivors, couples/sex therapy, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and stress, She uses different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing and is training in EMDR and Sex Therapy. In her free time she hangs out with her husband and 2 cats and 2 dogs, and an occasional teenager, if they end up seeing any of the 4 that live in their home. She and her husband love to camp, travel, watch movies, and EAT! Holly loves yoga, sound bath, and meditation to keep her balanced, especially while in a doctorate program.
