Jeanette received her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University and her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Utah. Jeanette has experience providing therapy to a variety of clients, including adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, infertility, grief, low self-worth, trauma, adjustment disorders, and marital distress.  Jeanette has worked in middle schools providing treatment to young students, and in a family center working with individuals and couples of various ages.  Jeanette focuses on empowering clients through a strengths based approach using principles of Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and person centered therapy.  She believes that empowering change comes through creating healthy perspectives, practicing self reliance and self care, and stabilizing personal foundations.

Jeanette enjoys hiking, swimming, playing sports, and watching sunsets.  Jeanette also enjoys traveling with family and cooking.
