Lani Chipman
LMFT
Lani began her studies at University of Utah where she studied psychology and art. After raising a family of four, Lani graduated with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree: concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy from Capella University. Lani is Certified in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and Mindfulness based interventions. She is highly skilled in a variety of modalities including TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), SFBT (Solution Focused Therapy), MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy), NT (Narrative Therapy) EAT (Expressive Art Therapies; art, music, drama, yoga, dance/movement, poetry, and photo therapy) and is an affiliate of Mindfulness and Art Therapy Alliance.
Lani embraces a humanistic approach; believing the client is the expert of their own life.
She embodies a mind, body and spirit integration to healing and is a warm, validating presence to facilitate positive change and growth.
