Sarah Anderson, LCSW

Sarah is a licensed clinical social worker with 10 year’s experience. She received her master’s degree in social work from the birthplace of basketball, Springfield, Massachusetts. Sarah has always had a desire to help others. As an in-home therapist, she discovered she worked well with children and adolescents. Sarah believes that early intervention and prevention for adolescents, teens, and young adultsis key for a successfulfuture. She has worked in a young-adult substance abuse program, a Victim of Crime Advocate for sexually abused children and mostrecently outpatient services for children, adolescents, families and adults. Sarah implements different treatmentmodalities such as client centered therapy, trauma-focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), art therapy, sand tray, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing and other evidence-based practices that fit the client’s needs. Sarah is originally from Logan, Utah and although she received her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, she will always consider herself to be an Aggie.
