Alex graduated from the University of Utah with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. His education provided him with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and therapeutic interventions, allowing him to provide culturally sensitive care to his clients. With a diverse range of therapeutic modalities under his belt, he offers a holistic approach to therapy, helping individuals, couples, and families overcome various challenges and achieve positive changes in their lives.
Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, he incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Gottman and EFT couples therapy. This allows him to help clients align their actions with their values, overcome barriers, and achieve personal growth.
Alex excels in helping clients work through anxiety, depression, pornography use/life transitions/struggles, new parent struggles, and couples conflict resolution. His empathetic and supportive approach creates a safe space for clients to process their emotions and develop effective coping mechanisms.
In his free time, Alex enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife, daughter, and friends.
