Brooklyn is empathic, genuine, and hardworking. She has developed extensive experience in anxiety-related disorders through two years of work in an Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) clinic. She also completed her last internship with the Department of Corrections, where she provided treatment to incarcerated women navigating substance use disorders. Brooklyn has been passionate about becoming a therapist since she was young and feels deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from the clients and mentors she has worked with along the way.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah State University and is currently completing her Master’s in Social Work at Utah Valley University. Brooklyn is trained in several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She also incorporates creative approaches such as art and sand tray therapy, tailoring interventions within a person-centered framework to meet each client’s unique needs. Additionally, she has received training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) while working with individuals experiencing complex trauma.
Brooklyn supports clients in navigating conflict, building coping skills, and moving toward a more values-consistent life. She emphasizes skill-building, boundary-setting, and collaborative problem-solving to empower clients in their growth and healing.
Outside of her professional work, Brooklyn enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, often playing pickleball or golf, and relaxing with a good movie. She values authenticity, connection, and a sense of fun—both in and out of the therapy space.
