Paula Fish is a Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful, values-driven lives. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Southern Utah University and her Master of Social Work from Boise State University.

Paula utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in which she holds certification. Her therapeutic style emphasizes collaboration, self-understanding, and skill-building while honoring each client’s unique experiences and strengths.

Paula has experience working with clients across a range of ages and backgrounds. Through her work in the public school system, she developed a deep appreciation for working with adolescents and young adults and is particularly passionate about supporting teenagers as they navigate identity development, relationships, and life transitions.

Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, and helping clients develop healthy coping skills and greater self-understanding. Paula believes that healing occurs through connection, self-compassion, and empowerment.

Paula believes therapy should provide a safe, affirming space where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. She is committed to serving marginalized populations and strives to create an environment of compassion, authenticity, and cultural humility.

Originally from northeastern Arizona, Paula brings both personal and professional insight into resilience, family systems, and life transitions. As a single mother who raised three children while pursuing higher education, she understands the complexities of balancing multiple roles and the strength required to overcome adversity. As a first-generation graduate, she values education, perseverance, and the transformative power of opportunity.

Outside of her professional work, Paula enjoys spending time with family, exploring new communities, and creating spaces that foster beauty, healing, and belonging.

Paula believes that meaningful change occurs when individuals are empowered to understand themselves with curiosity and compassion, and she is honored to walk alongside clients on their journey toward growth and healing.
