Rocio graduated from the University of Utah with her Bachelor of Social Work in 2023 and earned her Master of Social Work from Utah Valley University in 2026. Rocio has built her experience working with teenagers and young adults in various settings, including a residential treatment center and as a permanency worker at DCFS.

Rocio enjoys supporting clients in navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem, life transitions, and other challenges unique to each individual. She is trained in Trauma-Informed Practice, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Therapy, and Kaimana Intervention.

Rocio believes healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time, there’s room for laughter and gentleness along the way. Regardless of where you are in your journey, Rocio is here to help you feel heard, understood, and supported in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.

Outside of her professional work, Rocio finds joy in the simple things, such as reading a good book, singing just for the joy of it, going to the gym, and spending time outside.
