Sarah loves working with individuals, no matter where they’re at or what they’ve done, to help bring healing and hope into their lives. Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Spanish; and has both a Master’s in School Counseling and in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Sarah has worked as both a secondary and elementary school counselor for six years, working in Title 1 schools with diverse groups. Sarah has worked with autistic children and teenagers, and has facilitated groups for anxiety, social skills, executive functioning, grief, and divorce.
Sarah has also worked with adults, providing support with life and faith transitions, suicidal ideation, anxiety and grief. Sarah uses CBT, existential, solution-focused, and narrative therapy approaches to help clients overcome various roadblocks.
In her free time, Sarah loves finding new places to eat, planning vacations, painting and doing crafts with her children, and going to concerts and basketball games with her husband.
