Brooke is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who loves working with individuals, couples, families, and the Spanish speaking population. Brooke received her Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Utah State University. She believes that therapy is like physical health, sometimes people need just a small checkup and others need more extensive treatment. Brooke encourages her clients to be the experts of their own lives and trust their own intuition. She works with her clients with her expertise in research and her clients’ expertise in their own life to help her clients progress and get to their
desired goals and outcomes for therapy. Brooke truly believes that it is just as important to focus on clients’ strengths as well as their areas of improvement. She works from an attachment background as well as inner child work to help her clients heal. Brooke has specialized training in marriage and family therapy and has worked with couples on a wide spectrum, from simply wanting to improve their relationships, to healing from affairs. She has worked with couples from different countries, cultures, and languages.
She also has helped families with strained parent-child relationships. Brooke has been trained in Gottman Level 1 and is currently going through Gottman Level 2 training. She has been trained as well in Emotion Focused Therapy/Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFT/EFCT), Sex Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI).
