Kristina received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Utah in Family and Consumer Studies with a minor in Psychology. She also received a Master’s Degree from Brigham Young University in Social Work. Kristina worked at an inpatient facility for over six years. She also spent years working with clients in an outpatient setting. Kristina has supervised therapists focusing on children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a vast majority of issues including: divorce, anger management, female adolescent issues, conduct disorder, appropriate boundaries, sexual abuse and social skills to name a few. She has developed and written Behavior Management Contracts for adolescents who are physically and/or verbally assaultive.

Kristina uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing and other treatment modalities when working with her clients. Kristina’s primary focus is working with high risk adolescent girls and the issues they face including depression, self-esteem, anger management, poor coping skills, defiance, social skills, reactive attachment, family relationships, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys attending her kids’ soccer games, basketball games, dance recitals and gymnastics meets with her husband. She also loves running and running her kids around. ​
