Julie Holbrook

LMFT

Supervising Therapist — Currently not accepting new clients

Julie has been working as a Marriage & Family Therapist for over a decade now, and it has truly been the privilege of a lifetime! She is honored and humbled to walk with her clients through their stories, and to watch so many change their personal narratives for a better life ahead. She believes her clients have everything they need within themselves to heal, find meaning, and thrive, but we all need support, connection, and collaboration to grow perspective and make lasting changes.

Julie sees individuals, couples, and family relationships, ranging from adolescence through adulthood. As a therapist, she works from several approaches and does her best to tailor therapy to her clients’ personalities, temperaments, and functional abilities. Her primary practices include EFT (Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, IFS, ACT, and, of course, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Julie especially enjoys working with clients in major life transitions, including faith, relational, and developmental.

Julie is a Utah native and has a deep love for her surroundings while understanding the unique cultural aspects of living here. She has three beautiful children and the coolest husband around. She enjoys the beautiful outdoors, live concerts in spades, and strumming on her guitar (in spite of her crippling stage fright!). Nothing fills her cup more than a good beverage and a deep conversation with a friend.
