Kristina Holley
LCSW
Clinical Director — Currently not accepting new clients
Kristina received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Utah in Family and Consumer Studies with a minor in Psychology. She then received a Master’s Degree from Brigham Young University in Social Work. Kristina has over 25 years experience working in the mental health field in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Kristina has been the Clinical Director of Aspen Counseling Services since 2010. Her passion is working with adolescent girls and the issues and concerns they deal with. Kristina is compassionate with a fun sense of humor and has the ability to truly connect with her clients. She creates a space for them to learn about and realize their worth and value. Kristina allows her clients to find their voice and feel heard, learning to communicate and articulate in healthy ways. They learn through the therapeutic process that their opinion matters.
Kristina implements a diverse range of therapeutic approaches with her clients including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution- Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) as well as other evidenced based treatment modalities.
Kristina is kept very busy with four teenagers of her own. That said, she loves any meal she doesn’t have to cook! Fall is her absolute favorite season and she enjoys hiking with her husband (no one else in her family will go with her), a beautiful sunset and any quiet time she can find.
