Mallory received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from NYU. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from BYU-Idaho. Mallory’s experience working in mental health has primarily been non-profit organizations that treat and support trauma survivors. Her work in New York City consisted of working with survivors of torture and with inner-city youth to educate on consent, healthy relationships and relationship abuse prevention. She has worked in the hospital setting, and most recently, at a non-profit that provides treatment to survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Mallory finds fulfillment in providing compassionate support and helping clients feel heard, understood and valued. She strongly believed that healing is possible and enjoys partnering with clients on their mental health journey to lead a life they love. Having seen the toll that trauma can have on the body, Mallory is passionate about Body Kindness. She is a certified Pilates instructor and believes being kind to your body can be a valuable part of healing from trauma and living a meaningful life. She specializes in treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), survivors of special abuse, self-esteem issues, communication issues, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, etc. She provides treatment using a variety of modalities including Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, etc.
When Mallory is not working she prioritizes play and relaxing time. She is an avid traveler and finds joy in exploring new countries with loved ones. She loves fixing up antique furniture, doing reformer Pilates, going to concerts and spending time with her family.
