Mark Jueschke
LMFT
Available in the Sandy Office and over Teletherapy
Mark has more than 24 years of experience working with adults, children, teens, and families in a variety of settings. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University in Psychology in 2000 and started out his career as a Social Worker where he worked with elderly and disabled adults. He then changed course and went to work in Child Welfare. In 2008 Mark continued his education and received a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. He has worked as a therapist since that time.
Mark has a kind, gentle, non-judgmental, supportive approach. He feels it is essential that people feel at ease in the therapeutic environment and works hard in providing that for his clients. Mark has worked with many individuals from many different walks of life, struggling with many different challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, faith crisis, and LGBTQ+ issues. He also works with couples in reconnecting, rebuilding and strengthening their communication.
Mark uses a variety of approaches in therapy to meet the individual needs of his clients, including DBT, CBT, and TF-CBT, as well as Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and grief work techniques. He feels it is important to meet clients where they are. Mark loves spending time with his wife of 29 years, his three teenage daughters, and his two-year-old Beaglier, Pumpkin. They are his wonderful, exhausting, joy-filled world! They enjoy movies, games, being in nature, singing, laughing, amusement parks, and just being together. The West Coast/Pacific Northwest and the Mexican Riviera have been among their favorite places to go.
