Stephanie is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor who began her career at a community mental health center, working with survivors of domestic violence and in addiction recovery. She has years of experience working with complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, perinatal depression, and OCD as well as other mental health challenges. She has taught courses on mindfulness, EMDR, and stress management and led groups for new mothers recovering from domestic violence and drug addiction.
Stephanie is dedicated to helping you through various life stages and challenges. She provides a safe and empowering space for you to address issues such as self-worth, relationship difficulties, anxiety, and personal growth. She offers empathetic and non-judgemental support to you and helps her clients rebuild their sense of safety, well-being, and independence.
Her therapeutic approach is a client-centered and holistic approach to therapy. Stephanie integrates EMDR, IFS, ACT, and CBT modalities to tailor her interventions to your unique needs and goals. Using warmth and empathy, she creates a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
Stephanie obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster College in SLC and is certified in EMDR. She continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and training. She looks forward to meeting you!
