Why Aspen Counseling Services?

Aspen Counseling Services is an award winning mental health agency located in American Fork, UT. Since 2010, Aspen has specialized in helping families, couples and individuals of all ages with a broad range of mental health, relationship and parenting issues. We have amazing therapists! We offer ​free ​15 minute consultations so you can choose the therapist that best fits your needs.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling is super easy. Go to your therapist’s on-line profile on this website to view, schedule, or change your appointment. You may also call our office: 801-449-0017 and we’d be happy to help schedule your appointment.

What are the office hours?

Our office staff is available 10am – 6pm M-F. Therapy sessions may be scheduled outside of these times depending on your therapist’s availability.

What is the Client Portal?

The Client Portal is a private, secure, weblink where you can schedule appointments, view statements, update payment info, and more. You’ll be invited to access the Client Portal by your Therapist.

What is the Aspen Counseling Services Cancellation Policy?

You will not be charged if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24hours notice. If you are unable to provide at least 24 hours’ notice when you cancel, you will be charged the full fee for the session. The only time this fee will be waived is in the event of contagious or serious illness or emergency.

What is Teletherapy?

Teletherapy is a way to connect via a secure, private, video session with your therapist from anywhere you have a smartphone, computer, or tablet. You don’t need to travel into the office. Many studies have shown that Teletherapy can be just as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy. You can schedule a Teletherapy session anytime by going to your Therapist’s online calendar or by calling 801-449-0017.

What is the Covid-19 policy?

Aspen Counseling Services is following the current guidelines of the ​Utah State Health Department​. We take the health of our clients and staff very seriously. In-office, social distancing and sanitation are vigorously practiced. If you are uncomfortable in any way or are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms, please utilize our Teletherapy option.

What ages do your Therapists work with?

Our therapists are trained to work with families, couples and individuals of all ages. Please review our therapist’s bio pages to see their areas of specialty. You can also ask any questions by clicking on the “chat button” on this site during our office hours or call us directly at 801-449-0017. We’d be happy to answer any questions or concerns.

Do any of your therapists provide mediation for divorce?

No, none of our therapists provide any type of mediation or divorce services.

Do any of your therapists provide custody evaluations?

No, we do not provide any type of court-ordered, custody evaluations or any other services pertaining to court issues.
